2004 Dodge Ram SRT10 Regular Cab

As you may or may not already know.  The Dodge Ram SRT10 is the truck that started it all for us here at Parts Online Network. It is our specialty and we enjoy working on them as well as other Mopar performance vehicles.

This is a quick history lesson on the first production year of the baddest truck ever made, something that will never again be duplicated. The Dodge Ram SRT10 (affectionately called the Viper Truck) was introduced in 2004 as a regular cab, stick shift, 2wd Viper Powered pickup.  A sports car with a pickup truck body, it is truly a one of a kind monster.

Specs:

Engine: 505CI Viper V10

Transmission: Tremec T56 Manual

Rear Differential: Dana 60 4:10 gears

There were only 3057 of them made for the 2004 model year.  The truck was available in 3 basic colors for that year: Black, red and silver.  However there was a very short run of the holy grail of limited edition trucks, the VCA edition.  Limited to 50 trucks produced and available in blue with white racing stripes.  This limited edition truck will get its own post one day with all of the history behind it.

Tell us about your 2004 Ram SRT10 or any SRT10 you've had a memorable experience with.
